Our policies, procedures and everyday practices guide how our service operates and help ensure we meet the requirements of the New Zealand ECE Licensing Criteria. These operational documents explain how we support children’s learning, health, safety, and wellbeing, and how we work in partnership with families and whānau.
We believe strong services are built through collaboration, and parents and whānau are always welcome to participate in reviewing and providing feedback on our operational documents at any time. A full set of operational documents is available for viewing in the office. Parents and whānau are also welcome to access information relating to:
- the full names and qualifications of each person counting towards regulated qualification requirements
- information concerning your child
- any fees charged by the service
- ways parents and whānau can be involved in the service
- the service’s operational documents (Policies and Practices)
- planned reviews and consultation opportunities
- the amount and details of the expenditure of Ministry of Education funding received by the service
- the service’s complaints procedure, including who to contact and the contact details for the local Ministry of Education New Zealand office.
If you would like to view any of these documents or take part in a review, please speak with a member of our team. We value your input and partnership in supporting the quality of our service.
